The Classic Fun Run presented by American Diabetes Association
WHERE: City Walk (15th St North & 9th Ave)
TIME: 8am
Join us in downtown Birmingham at City Walk for the Classic Fun Run presented by American Diabetes Association. The Course Route will follow the “Red” City Walk path starting at 15th St. North and 9th Ave. North and proceed to the Kid’s area at 25th St. North. taking the same route back to the starting location for an approximate distance of 2 miles. HBCU Kickball 2024 – The Official Magic City Classic Kickoff
WHERE: George Ward Park Field 5 – 331 16th Ave S, Birmingham, AL
TIME: First game starts at 4pm
Join DJ Jamar and the Official HBCU Kickball Org for the official Magic City Classic Kickoff game. If you’ve been to one of the HBCU kickball games before then you know it’s full of vibes and friendly competition. Come out and see which team will take home the win and the trophy! Classic Ole School Day Party
WHERE: Boutwell Auditorium
TIME: 3pm-7pm
This Classic Ole School Day Party is a major fundraiser for the Cultural and Educational Foundation, Incorporated (CEAF). This party will include music that spans the decades. There will be food trucks and merchandise vendors. Everyone is welcome. A costume contest is an added feature of this year’s event.
So come dressed in your favorite ole school attire. The Ole School Day Party event will be held at the Boutwell Auditorium located at 1930 8th Ave N, Birmingham, AL 35203.

Magic City Gospel Fest

Mt. Pilgrim Baptist District Association’s moderator, Dr. Robert Sellers, Sr. will host the Magic City Gospel Fest at Greater Shiloh. Featured guests are Kirisma Evans and Josh Copeland, along with Greater Shiloh’s Sanctuary Choir, Lawson State Choir, Miles College Choir, Birmingham Mass Choir, and Voices of Victory. This event is sponsored by State Representative Patrick Sellers and is FREE and open to the public.

The Official Magic City Classic Parade

Join us in the streets of downtown Birmingham and prepare to be entertained by the best bands, dance teams and entertainment around! The parade will be led by the famous McDonald’s float carrying celebrities and the Magic City Classic Ambassador. Don’t miss the bands and dance teams from both Alabama State University and Alabama A&M University as they put on a show! This is a rain-or-shine event, and admission is free.
